My family and I moved here from Wilmington, NC in the fall of 2009. The Outer Banks has always been near and dear to me and I feel so lucky to call it home.

I'm an oil painter but my creativity comes out in many forms including multimedia works, as well. I'I find inspiration everywhere, but particularly in nature and love capturing a moment or feeling.

Creative time feels like such a luxury, but also, essential to my true self. I’m happiest when using my creative energy and spending time with my family.

At UNC Chapel Hill, my major was journalism with a secondary concentration in studio art. Since then, I’ve taken many workshops from well-known artists and find joy in painting and making connections with other artists.

Art is such an evolution; I’m happy to be along for the ride.
